Then we heard a story (as originally told by Vietnamese zen master, Tich Nhat Hahn):
“When the crowded Vietnamese refugee boats met with storms or pirates, if everyone panicked all would be lost. But if even one person on the boat remained calm and centered, it was enough. It showed the way for everyone to survive.”
You see, in 2020, despite a world that seemed to be unraveling in the face of the brand new global pandemic, my dear friend, Bec Griffiths and I started a Marketing school for artists.
We’re not gonna lie. There were times we looked at each other and thought:
“What the hell are we doing?”
And then with shared deep breaths and definitely a joke or two- we always answered our own question the same way.
“We are doing what we can. In the best way we can do it.”
We knew it was a long shot, but our belief in art’s necessity pushed us to create a community of education, shared passion and purpose to serve as a harbor for artists as they navigated covid’s choppy waters and tried to keep their businesses from drowning.
With Naked Marketing School, we invited artists to use quarantine time to go inward. We knew they would in turn get more clarity that would better both themselves and their businesses.
Then something remarkable happened.
Right off the bat, we sold out our course. Not just once, but twice.
We attracted an international community of diverse artists. And over the many months of quarantine, zoom calls, and hard ass work-- these students started to feel like far more than just a safe harbor in a wild world-- they started to feel like our family.
We cheered for each other. Cried with each other. Critiqued each other. Six months in the creative marketing trenches allowed us to watch each other's careers take off, witness babies be born, and wove all that we absorbed into strong, more meaningful businesses.
But just like any family, with continual growth comes continual change. After two years of running Naked Marketing School, big change has found us again.
Bec has been offered a full time position working for a non profit organization.
For this reason, this will be the very last time Naked Marketing School is available in its original, family style format.
So if you've seen friends who have thrived in the course and thought, “mmm I gotta get me some of that,” you truly can't afford to wait any longer.
This is the very last time to get the same gettin’ they got.
We repeat, this is the last time you have the chance to take Naked Marketing and get:
